Client was facing several challenges in their product lifecycle management process, which was causing delays in product development and increasing costs. The company had been using a traditional approach to product development, which involved multiple teams working in silos, leading to communication gaps and lack of collaboration. Client wanted to improve their product development process and reduce the time to market for their products. They decided to implement a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system along with Thingworx, an IoT platform, to enable better collaboration among teams and streamline the product development process.

Approach / Differentiation

  • GB has Created a connection with SAP HANA, CAD and Windchill with Thingworx Platform
  • Data Visualization Dashboards were created, the data is from the ERP Systems and data can be a Manufacturing part information or Bill of Materials of a Part.
  • Using these Dashboards users can do following changes:
  • Update BOM of a part
  • Can see the Part information and view Part CAD/CREO Model
  • Can upload a part Specific document in to the ERP system from Dashboard
  • Can Update or change the material Type on the Dashboard
